Last week I was previewing homes in the Steele Creek area of Charlotte, NC and visited a home on several acres of land tucked back in a thick forest of hard woods.  The home was an absolutely gorgeous, 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom home with a 3 car garage.  This home was only 2 years old and looked like it may be perfect for one of my clients. 

I went back to the office and started to research the property.  My findings determined that the home was a modular home.  My first thought was that this home could not possibly be a modular home; the details of the home were far too intricate to be a modular home.  After a bit more digging, I determined that the home was built 2 years ago by a local Carolina company that specializes in building custom modular homes.
